TCU Men’s Basketball: 2023-24 Non-conference Schedule Released

The Horned Frogs will play 16 home games at Schollmaier Arena – seven nonconference games and nine Big 12 games.

On Monday, TCU announced the men's basketball team's 2023-24 non-conference schedule. This comes just two weeks after the Big 12 Conference announced the new scheduling matrix for conference games after BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, and Houston joined the league.

TCU will host a total of 16 games at Schollmaier Arena, seven of those nonconference games and nine Big 12 Conference games. In addition, the Frogs will once again play a game at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena. TCU will host Arizona State there on December 16.

After an exhibition with Texas Wesleyan on October 30, the season starts with games against Southern on November 6 and Omaha on November 9 before facing UTRGV and Mississippi Valley State on November 17. November concludes with a home game against Alcorn State on November 21 and Houston Christian on November 27.

TCU will play two previously announced games, at Georgetown on December 2 and against Clemson on December 9 in Toronto, Ontario.

The season continues with a rematch of last season’s first-round NCAA Tournament matchup when TCU and Arizona State face off at Dickies Arena on Dec. 16 in the USLBM Coast to Coast Challenge. The Horned Frogs beat the Sun Devils in Denver last season, 72-70. It will be the fourth-straight season that TCU will play at Dickies Arena (2-1).

TCU will head to Honolulu, Hawaii, for the Diamond Head Classic for three games starting on December 21. The field includes Georgia Tech, Hawai’i, Nevada, Old Dominion, Portland, Saint Mary’s, Temple, and UMass.

A final tune-up before Big 12 Conference play will be at home on January 1 against Texas A&M Commerce.

The Big 12 Conference schedule has yet to be announced. TCU will play home and away games with Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Texas Tech, and West Virginia. They will host UCF, Houston, Oklahoma, and Texas. And the Frogs will play away games at BYU, Kansas, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State.
