Hello!

SI here, the guy who knows nothing giving you everything you need to know about TCU athletics. And that includes basketball. Or so they tell me. Regarding the TCU versus Oklahoma game this Saturday, here are the relevant details:

Tipoff is at 2:00 pm at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

The game can be viewed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Pete Sousa and Bryndon Manzer.

Alternatively, TCU fans can listen to the game at 570 KLIF Radio with Brian Estridge and John Denton or listen to or watch the game live from the Riff Ram app.

And now for the inexplicably obligatory narrative.

The season's winding to a close--unfortunately, right when we're getting wound up.  We're on a winning streak, with big vics over Texas Tech and Texas (scores of 83-82 and 75-73, respectively).

And on Saturday we're taking on the Sooners, who, if they tell me true, are leaving the Big 12, and if you're asking me, they can't live up to their name quite enough.

Needless to say, for a team that commands such respect, they've not been impressive of late.  Their football team sucked.  And now, to look at their abysmal record, so does their basketball.  They currently stand as the lowest ranked team in the Big 12 with a mere 4 wins to their record (as against 13, count em, 13 losses).  Ah.  Poetic justice.  Nothing sweeter.  Further, they are the only team in the Big 12 to blush a losing overall record (14-16).  Best of luck there in the SEC fellas.

So it goes without saying I'm betting on the Frogs to win.  Worries?  We get overconfident, travel to Norman, meet them at their home court, make mistakes, and take a beating.  But that team doesn't beat us if we play well.

Frogs win by 90 or so.

Too soon?

Nah.  Go Frogs!
