Hello!

SI here, the guy who knows nothing giving you everything you need to know about TCU athletics. And that includes basketball. Or so they tell me. Regarding the TCU versus Texas game this Saturday, here are the relevant details:

Tipoff is at 8:00 pm, at Schollmaier Arena, at our very own Fort.

The game can be viewed on ESPN2 with Rich Hollenberg and Chris Spatola.

Alternatively, TCU fans can listen to the game at 570 KLIF Radio with Brian Estridge and John Denton or listen to or watch the game live from the Riff Ram app.

And now for the inexplicably obligatory narrative.

We're back, folks.  Flying high after a major upset over Texas Tech, in their arena, having only narrowly lost to Kansas the game before, and thumping Oklahoma State the game before that, it is reasonably safe to say our late season slump has passed.  We'll be hosting the Longhairs, the Short Horns, the Bovine Bloviators, our vomit friends from Austin this Wednesday at Schollmaier Arena and I'm predicting a thrashing.

Bevo won't be able to walk for weeks.

Not that a castrated bull has any business being on a basketball court in the first place.

It must, however, be admitted that for a herd of cattle, the orange quadrupeds aren't bad at basketball.  They're currently second in the Big 12, with a record of 22-6 (11-4, in conference), three games above us.  Having said that, who cares?  Some of our guys were hurt and now they're not and I'm betting it's going to be Texas that ends up hurt.

It better be.  Or I'm going to owe a lot of money I ain't got.
