TCU Men's Basketball: How To Watch TCU vs. Texas Tech
Hello!
SI here, the guy who knows nothing giving you everything you need to know about TCU athletics. And that includes basketball. Or so they tell me. Regarding the TCU versus Texas Tech game this Saturday, here are the relevant details:
Tipoff is at 11:00 am, at the United Supermarkets Arena, in Lubbock, Texas.
The game can be viewed on ESPN2 with Roy Philpott and King McClure.
Alternatively, TCU fans can listen to the game at 570 KLIF Radio with Brian Estridge and John Denton or listen to or watch the game live from the Riff Ram app.
And now for the inexplicably obligatory narrative.
Okay. So Kansas beat us on Monday. As the old song insists: Everybody's gotta get lucky sometimes. And, thus, the converse is also true, as Henry Hill points out: Everybody takes a beating sometime.
Now, TCU will be in Lubbock, playing the Red Raiders. The boys are back and healthy. And it would appear we have good reason to be confident. After all, last we faced them, we beat them 67-61.
Having said that, Texas Tech is on a considerable winning streak, having beaten Texas at their last meet 74-67. Like TCU, they had a number of hurt players. Also, like TCU, some of these stars have returned and have made the nights of a Lubbock game far more interesting. And because our Frogs are going to be facing them in their home turf, it would be wise that they take the coming competition very seriously, indeed.
I, for one, am betting on the Frogs.
But my buddy, Alex Krus (currently sitting over my shoulder at the office) isn't.
