TCU Women's Basketball Preview: No. 24 West Virginia
TCU is back on track. After struggling in the second half of the injury-plagued season, the Horned Frogs are almost back at full strength, and their recent games have shown that.
TCU has Sedona Prince and Madison Conner back from injury, and they are already back in prime form. Prince had 29 points in the victory over Texas Tech, and Conner is one three-pointer away from breaking the school record for the most in a season.
Their opponent this weekend will not be easy, though. No. 24 West Virginia can score, and they score in bunches. The Mountaineers average 75 points a game and are 21-4 when scoring over 60 points on the season. JJ Quinerly is the team's leading scorer for 19.6 points per game, which puts her with the 27th-highest average per game in the country.
Key To Victory
The Horned Frogs are a fantastic defensive team and must be even better than usual for this matchup. While the Mountaineers average 75 points a game, the Horned Frogs only allow 60.4 points per game and will need to limit the damage done from beyond the arc to walk away with a win in this one.
