And now for the inexplicably obligatory narrative.
Things are looking dire. We are currently 4-4, with 4 games to play. Relative to disappointing performances against West-by-God-Virginia and Colorado, and outright disasters against Iowa State and Kansas State, Thursday's game against the Red Raiders is a must-win--certainly if we hope to achieve a winning season. Unless something spectacular changes, we can't realistically hope to beat Texas or Oklahoma--not with the team that played against Iowa State, not with the team that played against Kansas State. Perhaps a victory in Lubbock with spur our guys to play like they are capable.
