Week seven is finally here, and while this week does not look exciting on paper, I believe it is. This week's matchups should be close and essential for some teams for the rest of the season. Keep reading below to find out which games you should watch and which ones you don't have to worry about until looking for the final score.

1. Kansas State at Texas Tech

While this top game doesn't compare to the top matchup week in the Red River Rivalry, I believe this game may live up to be just as thrilling and nail-biting. The Wildcats have stumbled lately, getting upset by Gundy and Co. Texas Tech seems to be playing their best football this season. This game should come down to the last four minutes of the fourth quarter and be exhilarating all the way through.

2. #23 Kansas at Oklahoma State

Alan Bowman hasn't looked amazing, but he has been serviceable enough to help right the ship for the Cowboys lately. Kansas rebounded against UCF after struggles against Texas. Kansas should continue their run this season, but this game should finish within two possessions and make for some great TV.

3. Iowa State at Cincinnati

If you love defense, this is the game for you. Both teams are in the top half of defenses in the conference and have struggled on the offensive side of the ball. If you like low-scoring slugfest, this will be your favorite game of the week, and it should provide good entertainment regardless of whether you love low-scoring games.

4. BYU at TCU

It pains me to put the Horned Frogs this low, but it's right where the game should be. This game could be close if Josh Hoover, replacing Chandler Morris after the knee injury, can find his rhythm in his first career start. On the other hand, the Frogs could struggle, and BYU could put this game to bed early.

5. West Virginia at Houston

While I still have no idea if West Virginia is legit or not yet, I do know that Houston is not. Neal Brown and the Mountaineers will continue to find success in what should be a blowout game where Houston struggles to find any offensive momentum.

Teams on bye this week: Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas, and UCF

"Fort Worth" Game of the Week

We know that Fort Worth is better than Dallas. So, each week, I will give you the best FBS Game of the Week, aka the Fort Worth Game of the Week: This is must-see TV.

#8 Oregon at #7 Washington

"Dallas" Game of the Week

If the "Fort Worth" Game is the best in FBS, then the "Dallas" Game is obviously the worst game of the week. Don't even bother watching this one.

San Diego State at Hawaii

Saturday, 10:00 p.m. CT, CBSSN
