I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong, and dang, was I wrong about last weekend's slate of games. Oklahoma and Texas both barely escaped with a win, and TCU forgot to send their football team to Manhattan to play Kansas State. This weekend slate is tough to decide which games will be best for viewership, but some games will impact the standings, which will be reflected in the rankings below.

1. #6 Oklahoma at Kansas

This could be the last challenging game that the Sooners have this season. Bedlam is the following weekend, and then they get West Virginia, BYU, and TCU. If Oklahoma can play well against an inconsistent Jayhawks team, the Sooners will have secured a trip to the Big 12 Championship in December.

2. BYU at #7 Texas

This game ranks higher on the list mainly due to the Quinn Ewers' injury. BYU brings a solid defense to match, but the question will be, how does Texas start this game? If the Longhorns can come out the gate hot, this matchup shouldn't be close.

3. West Virginia at UCF

UCF is still searching for its first Big 12 Conference win, and I believe it will come against the Mountaineers. This should be a close game, but UCF will pull away.

4. Iowa State at Baylor

This is a great matchup and should be the "sickos" game of the week. Both teams are the bottom two offenses in the conference (separated by only one-point scores), but the Baylor defense is the 10th worst defense in all college football. Something has to give, and it should make for a great game to watch.

5. Cincinnati at Oklahoma State

Mike Gundy has the Pokes back on track after a rough start to the season, and Cincinnati won't be able to hang with them. I don't see this game being close, and that's why it's this low in the rankings.

6. Houston at Kansas State

Yes, Houston almost upset Texas last week, and they could play Kansas State well this weekend; I don't believe that will be what happens. The Wildcats are at home and should take care of business quickly.

Teams on bye this week: TCU and Texas Tech

"Fort Worth" Game of the Week

We know that Fort Worth is better than Dallas. So, each week, I will give you the best FBS game of the week, aka the Fort Worth Game of the Week: This is must-see TV.

"Dallas" Game of the Week

If the "Fort Worth" Game is the best in FBS, then the "Dallas" Game is obviously the worst game of the week. Don't even bother watching this one.
