The TCU Horned Frogs take on Iowa State on Saturday, October 7. Here are some key players on the Iowa State team that TCU fans should know before the game.

QB- Rocco Becht

Rocco Becht, a redshirt freshman, hasn't had the season he had hoped for thus far. However, he shows signs of talent and leadership. He can really sling the ball deep and can connect with receivers at times. Becht struggles to take care of the ball and has had two games this season where he has thrown more than one interception. TCU needs to come into this game fired up and ready to go because if they underestimate him, they could find themselves in trouble.

RB- Cartevious Norton

Cartevious Norton, a 5'11", 225 lbs. running back, has had the most production. The team has been unable to run much and has been stopped many times this season. However, he has the potential to break away and do damage to defenses. He doesn't do it very often, but TCU needs to be aware of him, and they need to continue to slow the run down.

WR- Jaylin Nowell

Jaylin Nowell is the team's leading receiver in yards. He has been one of the biggest weapons that this team has had. Nowell has quick feet, which allows him to create the separation needed to beat defensive backs. TCU must be aware of him so he doesn't slip away unnoticed.

DB- Beau Freyler

Beau Freyler is the team's leading defensive back and best defensive player. His large frame allows him to make big tackles and stop offenses. His height also allows him to cover larger players. TCU must watch out for him, and Chandler Morris needs to make his shows count, or Freyler could come out with the ball.
