The TCU Horned Frogs take on Nicholls on Saturday, September 9. Here are some key players on the Nicholls team that TCU fans should know before the game.

QB Pat McQuaide

Pat McQuaide is in his first season at Nicholls, and played his first game last week versus Sacramento State. It didn't go in his favor, but he showed instances where he could lead Nicholls. Even though he is new to the team and doesn't have too many weapons around him does not mean TCU should take him lightly. He will be looking to gain confidence and some ground. TCU needs to treat this like any other game because he will be looking to make his name known.

RB Collin Guggenheim

Collin Guggenheim has been a solid back for Nicholls for quite some time now. He is very experienced and knows what his role is on the team. He won't kill teams with his run style. However, the Frogs still need to keep an eye on him because he has the potential to make a few impressive plays.

WR Terry Matthews

Despite only catching one catch, Terry Matthews is still a deep ball threat, and his speed makes teams stay on their heels. TCU needs to expect Nicholls to throw the ball to him more.
