WATCH! Press Conference with AD Jeremiah Donati

Athletic Director Jeremiah Donati discusses TCU's recent move by the program parting ways with head coach Gary Patterson.

Today's press conference was a bit sad for all the people of TCU as they have to see Gary Patterson leave from his head coaching position. TCU has been home for Gary Patterson for over twenty years. It was such a sad way to see him go. Athletic Director for TCU addressed every issue on how the situation went down. He also stated what direction he wants the program to go. Everyone in the Frogs Nation is still upset on this recent change, but every era has to come to an end, and TCU needed change so that the program can go in the right direction moving forward. With news coming like this, its safe to say that program has been rebuilding for a while, and changes are coming drastically like this.

"With great power, comes great responsibility," said the old guy in "Spider Man." That is the same situation here . When you let go of a powerful head coach like Patterson, expect turmoil to hit for awhile as you rebuild with commits and recruits backing away, players transferring, and coaches leaving. This is the perfect time for TCU to find a coach who understands all the changes that are going on in college football. It's a new generation and TCU needs a head coach that can speak the lingo and understands the NIL rules. If you can get a coach that understands and is ready for the task at hand, it would seem like nothing changed at all.

Nonetheless, Gary Patterson deserved his flowers in a better way, but that is life. Gary Patterson will be missed at the press conferences and at TCU.
