TCU Football: Big 12 Announces 2024-2027 Conference Schedules

In the four year span, each team will play each other twice; once home and once away.

The much-anticipated release of the new-look Big 12 schedule came on Wednesday as the conference released plans for the next four seasons. According to the Big 12, the scheduling model took geography, historic matchups, and rivalries into consideration when creating these future conference slates.

To nobody's surprise, TCU's annual rival is Baylor. The Bears are the only team that the Horned Frogs will see every year; all of the other matchups will come and go. The TCU-Baylor rivalry is one of four rivalries that will be played every year, along with Kansas-Kansas State, Arizona State-Arizona, and BYU-Utah. 

Many TCU fans will be excited to see the Horned Frogs play Utah next year, reigniting a game that college football fans across the nation have missed. The matchup produced classic games in the 2000s, and in 2024, for the first time since 2010, the two programs will meet again.
