The NBA Summer League is underway in Las Vegas, and there are two TCU Horned Frogs competing for a roster spot. Damion Baugh is currently with the Los Angeles Lakers, and Mike Miles is with the Dallas Mavericks.

Yesterday, the Mavs beat the Warriors 98-96 in OT to advance to 2-1. Miles got the start in the backcourt along with second-year guard Jaden Hardy. They made for a quick and dynamic combo, with Hardy being able to attack the paint and Miles creating his shot on the perimeter.

Miles scored 19 points on 6-11 shooting knocking down three triples. He stuffed the stat sheet adding two rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. His passing certainly has improved over the last few months, and his rotations on defense look quicker.

Mike had seven points in his first game against the Thunder and 10 points against the 76ers. He's also seen an uptick in minutes in each game, going from 14 to 16 to 25.

The Mavericks will be back in action tomorrow night at 6:00 against the Pacers on ESPN.
