The TCU Rifle team showed off their impressive team depth this past week while taking down The Citadel, finishing with a 4698 to 4600 mark victory.

The usual top headliners in contests, Stephanie Grunsoee and Katie Zaun, were absent this past weekend, leaving the Horned Frogs needing big performances by the rest of the roster, and they delivered. Stephanie Allan had one of her best performances on the season, finishing with a 589 in smallbore and a 595 in air rifle and ending the day with a total aggregate score of 1184, which led the field.,,,

The Horned Frogs had four of the top five aggregate scores for the match, Mikole Hogan (1180) placing second, Nina Scheutt (1174) close behind at third, and Anne White (1159) rounding out the top five finishing fifth. 

Kaylynn Slaughter served as a counter for this match for the first time in her young career, finishing in seventh with an aggregate score of 1158. Gianna Yokoe, while not factoring into the team score, placed tenth with a score of 1148. 

The Horned Frog Rifle team will be back in action February 3-4 for the Patriot Rifle Conference Championship in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
