Head coach Eric Bell has made an addition leading up the start of the 2023 season in the hiring of Madison Kroger as Director of Player Personnel.

A native from Morgantown, West Virginia, Kroger played collegiate soccer at Queens University of Charlotte, but her time on the field was limited due injuries. Following her collegiate career in North Carolina, she began her coaching career at Central Washington where she earned her master’s degree in Athletic Administration.

In her time with the Wildcats, Kroger helped the team return to the GNAC Conference tournament in 2019 following a one-win season in 2017.

Her efforts at Central Washington did not go unnoticed, as she received an offer as an assistant at Stanislaus State in California. There, Kroger was the team’s recruiting coordinator. She then took her talents to Hawaii as a volunteer assistant, working on scouting reports and film breakdown. Kroger most recently finished a successful season in Idaho during the 2022 campaign.

In her single season with the Vandals, she helped the team to a 12-3-3 record finishing second in the Big Sky Conference with a 6-2-0 league record and 12 clean sheets.

Bell has expressed his excitement with Kroger joining his coaching staff. “Her desire to be the best coach that she can be will make her an incredible asset to our staff. I cannot wait for her to get started,” he said.

TCU Soccer will kick off its season on August 17 at 7pm against SMU at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
