Breaking: Vols Star RB Eric Gray has Entered the Transfer Portal

VR2 on SI has learned that Tennessee's star running back Eric Gray has entered the portal. Below is Gray's Bio from the University of Tennessee.

"Talented running back who has played in all 23 games and made five starts since arriving at Tennessee ... Led the team in rushing and had the second most receptions on the team as a sophomore in 2020 ... Has scored 10 total touchdowns in his last 12 games dating back to the 2019 season ... Finished his freshman season with back-to-back dazzling performances, combining for 366 total yards and four scores against Vanderbilt and Indiana ... His 246 rushing yards against the Commodores is the most by a true freshman in Tennessee history, surpassing a record set in 1997 by Jamal Lewis ... Recorded the second-longest rushing touchdown in program history and the 10th longest in SEC history on a 94-yard run in the second quarter against Vanderbilt in 2019."

Gray could still withdraw his name from the portal if he elects to.
