Final Injury Report: Tennessee vs. Florida
The Tennessee Volunteers have officially announced their inactives against the Florida Gators.
In this story:
Ahead of kickoff, the Tennessee Volunteers have released their inactive list against the Florida Gators. The most notable injury note is from center Cooper Mays, who is active tonight. He will go through pregame warmups to determine his pace tonight, and we'll see how involved he gets as the night progresses.
Tennessee Injury Report: Florida
- DeSean Bishop, RB - OUT. According to head coach Josh Heupel, true freshman running back DeSean Bishop won't miss the entire season. Still, he will be sidelined for multiple months after suffering an injury in practice.
- Cooper Mays, C - IN. Mays underwent a "minor procedure" before the year and could make his season debut against the Gators.
- Keenan Pili, ILB - OUT. Pili suffered an upper-body injury last week against Virginia and will be out for several weeks, according to Heupel. Expect Elijah Herring and Arion Carter to assume some of those snaps.
- Elijah Simmons, DT - OUT. Simmons didn't make his season debut last week and won't against Austin Peay, though there is optimism here.
- Tyree Weathersby, DL - OUT. True freshman defensive end Tyree Weathersby will miss the entire season after suffering an injury in practice.
- Christian Charles, DB - OUT.
- Will Brooks, DB - OUT.
