Kamal Hadden Reflects on Growth With Tennessee
Tennessee Volunteers corner Kamal Hadden had the best season of his career this past year. He bounced back from a difficult 2022 campaign and was the Vols' best cover corner in 2023. Hadden logged 19 tackles, seven pass deflections, and three interceptions in seven contests before suffering a season-ending injury against Alabama.
He's the first of three representatives from the University of Tennessee who will test at this year's NFL Combine. Hadden competes alongside the rest of the corners later this afternoon, and ahead of a crucial moment in his career, Hadden reflected on what he learned during his time as a Volunteer.
"Tennessee prepared me greatly for the league, sticking with me and helping me grow as a man and helping me grow as a player. They helped me tremendously... just giving me the opportunity to showcase who I am as a player but also as a man." - Kamal Hadden to reporters at the 2024 NFL Combine
Hadden confirmed that he will participate in on-field drills on Friday afternoon but won't do any athletic testing. He will go through the entire festivities of the predraft process at Tennessee's Pro Day on March 27.
