According to a report from David Ubben, Tennessee is firing Brian Niedermeyer and Shelton Felton with cause-related to impermissible recruiting violations.

Niedermeyer had been Tennessee's best recruiter during his time in Knoxville, landing players like Darnell Wright, Henry To'o To'o, and Quavaris Crouch.

Felton had a huge cycle for the Vols and was instrumental in landing Byron Young, Dylan Brooks, and recent transfer Big Kat Bryant.

The University uncovered multiple Level I violations, in addition to other violations. Jeremy Pruitt was also fired with cause. More details to come on VR2 on SI.
