Betting Guide: Tennessee vs. Duke
The Tennessee Volunteers are preparing for battle against the red-hot Duke Blue Devils. Duke recently won the ACC Championship and put together a dominant showing against Oral Roberts in the first round.
There will be a lot of eyes on this game, as these are two of the biggest name brands in college basketball. Both have had their moments this season; Tennessee was, at one point, the No. 2 team in the sport, while Duke may be the hottest team of late.

- Moneylines: Duke -177, Tennessee +140
- Spread: Duke (-3.5) -112, Tennessee (+3.5) -108
- Over/Under: +/-128.5 (O -108) (U -113)
Spread and Moneylines
The Blue Devils easily covered their spread in their first tournament matchup against the Golden Eagles. In their last five games, Duke is 5-0 and has covered the spread in all five games. Four of those were on neutral sites, with the outlier being in Chapel Hill against North Carolina.
Duke has been a winning and covering machine as of late, and that may continue against the Vols as both teams will collide. For Tennessee, they struggled to cover in neutral site games during the season. The result was the same: they could not cover their spread against the Ragin' Cajuns. They also only scored 58 points as the under was the go-to bet in that game.
Duke is also very streaky when it comes to scoring. However, recently against Oral Roberts and in the ACC Tournament, they have routinely been scoring above 60.
Point Spread
The over and under greatly depends on who controls the pace of this basketball game. If Duke takes over and starts scoring at will as they did against Oral Roberts, I could see the overhitting. However, if Tennessee can put their foot down defensively and hold Duke, the under may be the pick.
My Picks: Duke ML, Duke -3.5, U 128.5
