Just In: Tennessee’s NCAA Seed Revealed

Tennessee came up short yesterday to Alabama in the SEC tournament. The Vols led the Tide until the waning minutes of the game, but the eventual SEC champions were too much to overcome.

However, over the week, Tennessee showed they were still able to compete at a higher, more consistent level at times. They face several uncertainties heading into the NCAA tournament like the status of John Fulkerson.

“I don't know,” Barnes said after yesterday’s contest. “We haven't really discussed it. We knew he wasn't going to play today. Had no idea if he'd be ready to play tomorrow. We just talked about today. I don't have an answer for you.”

One thing that is now certain is Tennessee’s NCAA future. The Vols will take on Oregon State in round one on Friday in the Midwest region. Tennessee is the No. 5 seed in the region.
