2026 Offensive Tackle Prospect Darius Gray Talks Visit Plans

2026 Darius Gray (Richmond, Va.) talked his potential visit destinations and current recruitment updates, including the Tennessee Volunteers.

Darius Gray is a 2026 offensive tackle prospect from St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Virginia. Height has been a fast-rising recruit and has plenty of Power 5 offers. He even holds a Tennessee offer, which he received on April 26th, 2023, before his sophomore season began. He is a current four-star prospect and recently broke down his recent recruiting updates with Volunteer Country.

The class of 2026 tackle prospect was asked how his overall recruitment has been as of late, and he responded, "It's been great; I have been invited to a few places so far for January." He also talks about certain schools in particular that have been pushing hard for him. The 6'4, 284-pound tackle states, "Schools such as North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and Flordia have communicated with me. Most of them also invited me down to campus. They all have made me feel like a priority! They constantly invite me to events and things like that."

He goes on to talk about visits in particular. He says, "I have no plans for visits yet. However, I'm trying to see if I can go to Michigan in the spring. Tennessee is another school, along with all of the Florida schools I'd like to visit in the spring."

Tennessee has been involved in his recruitment as of late. "Our relationship is great! I'm definitely very comfortable within the school, and so is my family," when talking about Tennessee. Finally, he talks about plans for cutting schools. Although he doesn't have a set date, he has a plan he could potentially follow down the road. "As of now, there are no plans to cut schools. The goal is to definitely have a cut of schools closer to the junior-senior range."
