2024 Four-Star OT Bennett Warren Includes Tennessee In Top 4

2024 four-star offensive tackle Bennett Warren included the Tennessee Volunteers in his top four despite never seeing Rocky Top in-person.
In this story:

Bennett Warren is a big man. He stands 6 feet, 7.5 inches tall, and he weighs 330 pounds. The class of 2024 tackle is a four-star and attends Fort Bend Christian Academy in Sugar Land, Texas. He had 35 offers, but on Thursday, he trimmed his list down to four. Warren included Tennessee, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Michigan in his final four. Tennessee offered Warren in January of this year. According to 247Sports, Warren either has visited or will visit each of the four schools this month, with an expected visit to Knoxville on June 23.

Warren’s size is impossible to ignore. At 6-7.5 and 330 pounds, he is a dream offensive tackle in the SEC. Warren is a multi-sport athlete with experience in basketball, shot put, and discus. Warren has most of his experience at right tackle, where he has received various honors individually, and has seen his team achieve great success, including the Division II championship in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, according to 247Sports' Gabe Brooks.

He was a first-team selection in the 2022 championship campaign. Not surprisingly, Warren looks like a man amongst boys out on the field. He puts defenders on the ground with ease. Obviously, it won’t be that easy at the college level, but his size will still be a major advantage. With his basketball background, Warren’s athleticism allows him to move vertically down the field and laterally in pass protection. Warren could very well be an NFL-level tackle.
