Four-Star QB Scheduling Spring Visit With Tennessee
Tennessee's coaching staff has been waiting for the 2025 quarterback class, and we are drawing closer to their turn. There's another recruiting cycle left before the 2025 group becomes seniors, but head coach Josh Heupel always gets in on quarterbacks early.
The Volunteers aren't pushing very hard for a 2024 quarterback; they likely end up with one but have stayed away from the top names out of respect for 2023 quarterback signee Nico Iamaleava. Tennessee is comfortable with where their future stands with Iamaleava running the show and doesn't see a reason to mess with that.
2025 quarterback Cutter Boley is one of their top targets on the board. Boley is a Kentucky native and a consensus four-star prospect. He's flirted with Tennessee for a few months, telling On3's Chad Simmons that he believes the Volunteers would prepare him best for the NFL.
He unofficially visited Tennessee in mid-January and had a great time. Sources confirm to Volunteer Country that Boley will return to Rocky Top. Those who know the situation said Boley is aiming for a March visit, either on the 21st or 28th.
There are several other suitors in this recruitment. Boley will also take unofficial visits to Clemson, Kentucky, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Florida State, South Carolina, and LSU. It feels like Tennessee is in a good position, but several major suitors will keep pursuing him as he gets older.
