Dodge County High School linebacker Darrell Johnson has attracted several premium suitors who routinely compete with the Tennessee Volunteers. Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and UCF are the finalists for the Georgia native. The Crimson Tide have recently made a big impression here, and they're surging ahead of his new commitment date.

Johnson has set a commitment date for March 20. He will decide between those six schools in a few short days, giving one of them an extremely versatile and athletic defender. Johnson ranks as the No. 28 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He stands 6-1 and 200 pounds with an 80-inch wingspan.

He logged 103 tackles during his junior season, playing a lot of time at defensive back. There's a high ceiling present for Johnson, which is why so many major coaching staffs are giving chase.
