Ethan Utley Announces Commitment Date

2025 four-star defensive lineman Ethan Utley (Nashville, Tenn.) has announced a commitment date, and the Tennessee Volunteers are among his top schools.

Ensworth High School defensive lineman Ethan Utley will come off the board before he takes his official visits. The Nashville native took to social media on Friday afternoon to announce that he will be announcing his commitment on March 28. Utley's final five schools are Michigan, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Tennessee, and Texas.

Utley has developed an extensive relationship with the University of Tennessee. He's been to campus many times and had a pre-existing relationship with Tennessee defensive line coach Rodney Garner. He's also close friends with Milton High School corners Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond, both of whom are committed to Tennessee.

He ranks as the No. 148 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Utley spoke with 247Sports' Steve Wiltfong about each of his top schools ahead of his decision.
