2025 four-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews (Toms River, N.J.) visited the Tennessee Volunteers over the weekend.

The Tennesse Volunteers have highly sought-after Toms River North High School offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews. Matthews made his first visit to Knoxville back in early February; since then, the Vols have remained a top contender for the No. 306 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

Matthews's second visit to Tennessee only furthered his interest in suiting up in the orange and
white. Matthews said Tennessee is now one of two schools standing out to him after seeing the campus for Tennessee's annual "Orange and White" game. Volunteer fans won't have to wait too much longer for his decision; Matthews announced that his official commitment date will be June 8th.

Tennessee has been able to manifest a highly talented O-Line this offseason. To further
strengthen the front lines with the likes of Matthews would give Vols fans and newly
announced starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava an easier night's rest ahead of Tennessee's season
opener on August 31st.

Tennessee's 2025 Recruiting Class

  • George MacIntyre, QB
  • Justin Baker, RB
  • Joakim Dodson, WR
  • Jack VanDorselaer, TE
  • Ethan Utley, DL
  • Dylan Lewis, CB
  • Tyler Redmond, CB
