Jaime Ffrench Continues Getting Linked To Tennessee Vols
2025 four-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench (Jacksonville, Fla.) is a top priority for the Tennessee Volunteers, especially after his first visit to Knoxville, Tennessee.
Mandarin High School wide receiver Jaime Ffrench remains one of the most sought-after recruits on the open market. He's received a flood of interest from high-major programs since he backed off his pledge to the Alabama Crimson Tide; the Tennessee Volunteers have become very active here over the past few months.
According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Ffrench ranks as the No. 22 prospect in the 2025 class. He holds 34 programs, which are highlighted by programs like Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, and Tennessee. Ffrench visited Tennessee for the first time within the past few weeks. His family and a friend, Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre, joined him. MacIntyre has been committed to the Vols since late January and is interested in teaming up with French in college.
Since the Vols joined the race, they'd been viewed as a team sitting on the fringes for Ffrench. However, his recent visit has legitimized them more in his eyes. Recruiting insiders have gone as far as saying that Tennessee is the "No. 2 team" in his recruitment, and On3's Chad Simmons recently said Tennessee is a school to watch in this race.
"Watch out for Tennessee. [Kelsey] Pope, Josh Heupel, those guys did a great job getting him on campus in March. Really hit a home run, not just with him, but I’m told with his parents as well. Of course, Florida State has always been there. He was back at Miami here recently. I agree with Steve [Wiltfong], right now setting the pace is Ohio State. But watch out for a school like Tennessee here." On3's Chad Simmons on Jaime Ffrench
