Jayden Harris Sets Commitment Date

Tennessee guard target Jayden Harris has set a commitment date and is focused on the Volunteers alongside several other SEC schools.
In this story:

Guard Jayden Harris has cut down his recruitment and set a commitment date. Harris is focused on Tennessee, Miami, LSU, Kansas, Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech moving forward. Tennessee and Virginia Tech are the presumed favorites, and the recruitment is winding down.

Harris set a March 24 commitment date on Thursday. He stands 6-4 and 175 pounds and is a consensus top-100 recruit on several recruiting sites. He plays for Salisbury High School in North Carolina, a prestigious high school that routinely pumps out top players.

In a recent interview with On3's Joe Tipton, Harris broke down each prospective school. He had some positive things to say about the Volunteers, and they seemed to be positioned well.

“I’ve got to watch Tennessee play in person, and I can see myself playing under coach (Rick) Barnes. They have nice facilities and a great coaching staff.”

Harris has only seen a few of the schools on his top list in person and still has to make several visits. He told Tipton he would like to decide by "the first week of his senior year" but it seems that timetable has change.
