Jeremiah Beaman Narrows Recruitment, Include Tennessee

Four-star defensive end Jeremiah Beaman narrowed down his recruitment to ten schools, which included the Tennessee Volunteers.

Jeremiah Beaman is a four-star defensive lineman in the class of 2024. The 6-foot-4-inch, 265-pounder plays at Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama, and has a 4.0 GPA. As for the next level of his education and athletics, he has 21 total offers, but he narrowed that list to 10 on Sunday.

The list includes Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Florida from the SEC, as well as future conference member Texas. Mississippi State and South Carolina were SEC schools that offered him but did not make his top 10. Additionally, UAB from his home state did not make the list.

On the field, Beaman has shown the ability to play both inside and outside on the defensive line. He can do this because he combines power and speed. He had an interception return for a touchdown in his junior year, displaying his awareness and long-distance speed.

Beaman does not give up on plays, and his strength keeps ball carriers in his grasp once he gets a hold of them. Beaman even lined up at tight end and snuck in behind the defense for a score once last season. This really exemplifies his versatility and athleticism, which any school could utilize in combination with his size.
