Jordan Young Schedules Tennessee Official Visit
Monroe High School safety Jordan Young is one of the top defensive prospects on the board for the Vols. They already have two corners committed in the 2025 class, and if their track record under head coach Josh Heupel tells us anything, it's that they want to take a safety or two at some point in this class.
According to 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Young is the No. 44 prospect in the 2025 class. On the offensive side of the ball during his junior season, he tallied 812 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns while totaling 66 tackles, two for loss, and an interception. The talented defender had previously set up official visits with the Clemson Tigers and the Florida State Seminoles; now, Tennessee has added its name to his list.
Young will be in Knoxville, Tennessee, on the weekend of June 21. He joins several other talented prospects that the Vols are hoping to impress. Linebacker Ty Jackson, edge rusher Mariyon Dye, corner Onis Konanbanny, defensive lineman Brandon Caesar, and safety Lagonza Hayward are also set to visit that weekend officially.
