Kamarion Franklin Schedules Official Visit
Defensive end Kamarion Franklin continues to be a priority for the Tennessee coaching staff. Franklin has visited numerous times after his junior season and enjoys the Knoxville atmosphere each time. Franklin is on record underscoring his affinity for the coaching staff and their efforts to connect with him as a person; those efforts proved fruitful on Saturday.
Franklin attended Tennessee’s spring scrimmage, a positive sign for fans. Recruits typically attend a few spring games, and their travel helps clue you in on their top schools. Not only was Franklin in the building, but he shared some news after the game.
He announced that he has planned an official visit with the Vols for the weekend of June 16. He joins other priority defensive linemen considering the Vols, like Jordan Ross, Williams Nwaneri, Elijah Rushing, and Kameryn Founatin.
Franklin has become one of the best defenders in his recruiting class because he melds all these things into a complete package. Franklin showcases his power, athleticism, and smarts all in one play at points, a rarity in high school but necessary in college.
