Max Anderson Narrows Recruitment

Offensive tackle Max Anderson has narrowed his recruitment and included the Tennessee Volunteers.
In this story:

The Tennessee Volunteers have been diligent in their 2024 recruiting efforts. They are on the shortlist for several top prospects but need some offensive linemen to protect for the skill talent they are recruiting.

Tennessee has made the list for another top offensive lineman in Daniel Calhoun. Calhoun is down to ten schools, while Anderson is down to twelve. Anderson will focus on Tennessee, Oklahoma, Baylor, Penn State, Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, and Ole Miss.

Anderson's final schools should signify the caliber of player he is. He has a strong frame at 6-5 and 300 lbs., more than enough to survive in the SEC. Anderson needs to refine his technique once he enters college but has enough brute force and athleticism to win at a high level.

The Oklahoma Sooners seem to be the leader in his recruitment. His older brother plays for Oklahoma, but Tennessee's relationship with Anderson could win out. The Volunteers have one of the most prolific offenses in the country and likely will sustain that under head coach Josh Heupel. Tennessee needs to reload along the offensive line, and Anderson would greatly help in that process.
