Four-Star OL Peyton Joseph Announces Visit To Tennessee, Getting First Look At Vols

2025 four-star offensive lineman Peyton Joseph announced a visit to see the Tennessee Volunteers. It will be the Georgia native's first look at Rocky Top.
In this story:

Peyton Joseph is a four-star in the class of 2025. The offensive tackle stands 6-4 and weighs 280 pounds. He attends Peach County High School in Fort Valley, Georgia. Joseph announced on Friday via Twitter that he would be in Knoxville June 9-11. He currently has offers from 15 colleges, with Tennessee yet to give the big man one. Maybe that will change after his time in Knoxville next weekend. From his home state, Georgia and Georgia Tech have already offered him. Additionally, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and Ole Miss from the SEC have offered him. There is still much time to go in his recruitment, as he will be just a rising junior this coming season.

Joseph is a big, stout offensive lineman. 280 pounds might not sound crazy, but as a rising junior, he still has time to add more weight. On the field, he already looks big and has shown the ability to move defenders around to his liking. He has seen a lot of time at right tackle, but it will be interesting to see where he plays on the line in his next two years and where colleges, including possibly Tennessee, see him playing in the future. He is listed as a tackle by 247Sports, but that same agency also ranks him among interior offensive linemen.

In the run game, he is always looking for the next guy to attack, getting to the next level whenever possible. In the pass game, his feet and legs can support his big body, and he can move well laterally, just as he can move vertically in the run game. Tennessee has had offensive linemen drafted to the NFL in the last two drafts, including Darnell Wright, 10th overall to the Bears in 2023. Hopefully, the success of past offensive linemen at Tennessee, combined with a great visit, boosts how Peyton Joseph feels about Tennessee.
