Who's Next To Commit To Tennessee?

In this story:
The 2024 class is beginning to heat up. The Tennessee Volunteers added their fourth commit in the class on Saturday in defensive back Marcus Goree. Goree joins tight end Jonathan Echols, defensive lineman Carson Gentle, and corner Kaleb Beasley.
The coaching staff has been raising the recruiting standard since head coach Josh Heupel arrived on Rocky Top. In his first full recruiting class, they signed the No. 1 player in America, and things should only get better moving forward.
There are several high-caliber prospects that the coaching staff will up their pursuit in the next few months. The summer will be a big opportunity for them to add big names to this class.
Williams Nwaneri, DE
Defensive end Williams Nwaneri is one of the top defensive linemen in the country. Nwaneri stands 6-5 and 245 pounds with loads of athleticism and technique, making him a fit in any defensive system.
He is a winning football player; Nwaneri makes impact plays on defense and special teams for Lee's Summit North, the 2022 Missouri State Champion. Nwaneri is coachable and fights through the whistle, taking his game to the next level.
Tennessee hosted him for an unofficial visit in January, and the Volunteers hope to bring him in on an official visit. Nwaneri hails from the midwest, meaning several programs like Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Oregon have interest.
Ryan Wingo, WR
The Volunteers are still searching for their first skill commit in the 2024 class; wide receiver Ryan Wingo is their No. 1 skill target. Wingo is another Missouri product heavily considering Tennessee.
In fact, Tennessee is the presumed No. 1 for Wingo at this point. He stands 6-2 and 200 pounds with the strength and athleticism to become a difference-maker in the quick game and downfield.
Wingo has been on campus several times and loved each Knoxville trip. Notre Dame is the primary competition, as Wingo recently had an excellent visit to South Bend, Indiana.
Boo Carter, ATH
Tennessee has done an impressive job of recruiting in-state talent under Heupel. Tennessee pumps out excellent talent annually, meaning the Volunteers must lock down the elite talent.
Boo Carter is a consensus top-300 recruit that hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Volunteers have been in front of his recruitment for years - the talented Carter could play either side of the ball in college.
Volunteer Country projects him as a defensive back and a good one at that. Carter has an elite change of direction and instincts, making him a natural fit in any P5 secondary.
