Four-star offensive lineman William Satterwhite whittled things down to nine schools and included the Tennessee Volunteers, who are in good standing with the Ohio native.

The Tennessee Volunteers have been recruiting offensive linemen as well as any other program recently. Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee is making the rounds on the recruiting trail, and the Vols already have several high-quality depth pieces in the 2024 cycle. However, they aren't done adding talent, as several targets are still on the board.

Four-star offensive linemen William Satterwhite is a four-star interior offensive lineman in the class of 2024 at Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio. He stands 6-5 and weighs in at 300 pounds. On Thursday, he took to Twitter to trim his college list down to nine schools after holding 32 offers.

  • Alabama
  • Auburn
  • Clemson
  • Cincinnati
  • Georgia
  • Michigan
  • Michigan State
  • Penn State
  • Tennessee

On the field, the first thing that pops out is how well Satterwhite stays engaged with defenders in the run game. Once he gets his hands on opponents, they struggle to break away. He finishes his blocks with authority. Another key trait is his versatility. He is considered an interior offensive line prospect, but he has experience on the outside at tackle as well. On the inside, he can play center and guard. In the passing game, he utilizes his strong legs to keep pass rushers in front of him, holding strong to his spot. Satterwhite is still a young prospect, so it is fair to expect him to continue to grow both in skill and size. It will be interesting to see what position exactly college teams want to play him at, but his versatility gives them the freedom to put him where he fits.
