'Everything I Could Have Wished Of': Red Raider WR Erik Ezukanma on First NFL Practices
With the conclusion of the NFL Draft a few weeks ago, NFL fans are beginning to get the first glimpses of their draft classes as rookies across the country report for rookie minicamps.
Former Red Raider wide receiver Erik Ezukanma is one of several hundred rookies looking to make a good first impression on the field, as he went through rookie minicamp with the Miami Dolphins on Friday and Saturday.

While it was only minicamp, Ezukanma was excited to get on the field for the first time as an NFL player with the Dolphins, even it was just practice.
"Everything that I ever could have wished of. Just being out here with the guys, working hard. I'm just happy to be out there," Ezukanma told reporters after practice on Friday.
Ezukanma will have his work cut out for him this offseason to get playing time in a stacked wide receiver room, a room that features Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Not only that but Ezukanma acknowledged the difficulty that he will face learning an NFL playbook this offseason.
"I feel like it's going to be really challenging. It's a lot of work. I feel like I'm going to be here a lot in the facility just learning, studying a lot and watching a lot of film to get up to speed so I can play as fast as I can," Ezukanma said.
Ezukanma will ultimately make the Dolphins 53-man roster this fall, however playing time might be few and far between. However, there should be little doubt as to just how hard he will work to get on the field when the season starts in September.
