Longhorns Cruise Past Bears 11-3: Live Game Log

The Longhorns look to win their second straight game to start the home stand against the Bears on Wednesday night.

The Texas Longhorns (5-7) are back in action for another midweek game on Wednesday night, as they welcome the Mercer Bears (9-4) to Disch-Falk Field. 

Texas is coming off a 7-5 win over the Sam Houston State Bearkats on Tuesday night in the first game of what is a lengthy 14-game home stand. It was a much needed win for the Longhorns, who have struggled out of the gate to start the season and lost a three-game set to the Cal State Fullerton Titans over the weekend. 

Now, though, they look to carry the momentum over from their Tuesday night win against a Mercer team that has won four games in a row. The Bears will be far from an easy opponent, having outscored opponents 90-81 through 13 games.
