Longhorns Survive Rally, Take Series Opener Over Bears 11-9: Live Game Log
The Texas Longhorns (24-11, 6-3) are back in action on Friday night as they hit the road to take on the Baylor Bears (12-21, 4-8) for their fourth conference series this season.
So far it has been a strong start to conference play for the Longhorns as they've managed a sweep of the Texas Tech Red Raiders and a series win against the Kansas State Wildcats.
However, both of those series were played at home and the only road series for the Longhorns so far saw them drop it to Oklahoma State. On the road this season the Longhorns have been perfectly even with a 4-4 record.
The Longhorns will hope for a showing more in line with their performances against Texas Tech and Kansas State rather than Oklahoma State, especially with a chance to maintain sole possession of first place in the Big 12 heading into the final stretch.
