No. 15 Texas Hosting St. John's in Midweek Contest
After dropping their second game of the season against San Diego, the Texas Longhorns (6-1) have not lost a game since. Following a week which saw them go 4-0 and outscore opponents 35-3, they enter Tuesday's contest against the St. John's Red Storm riding a five-game winning streak.
While it is certainly still early in the season it would be hard to deny how smooth things are rolling for the Longhorns. Of course, they are in no place to overlook the Red Storm coming to town. Doing so could result in their second upset loss of the young season.

Their bats can finally break through against the Longhorns' bullpen. Through seven games so far this season teams have had a tough time finding any success against a dominant Texas bullpen. Bucking that trend should be imperative for the Red Storm on Tuesday night.
St. John's has shown it has what it takes to pull off an upset, boasting wins over Florida and Houston so far. Now, though, they face another tough test on the road. If their bats don't make the trip, well, it could be a long evening.

The pitching can continue its dominant run of success, dating back to last week against Houston Christian. After giving up two runs in the eighth inning against the Huskies, the Longhorns' pitching staff has not surrendered a single run. They swept Cal Poly with three straight shutouts, running their scoreless inning streak to 28.
Continuing that will go a long way towards extending their winning streak to six games heading into a tough part of their schedule. While the streak won't last forever, keeping it going for as long as possible will help win on Tuesday.
