Starting off the season slow, Dylan Campbell once again scuffled out of the gate for the Texas Longhorns. Just like he did in 2022, before catching fire to end the regular season and into postseason play, helping the Longhorns make their 38th trip to Omaha.

Now, he is doing it yet again. A slow start to the 2023 season has been long forgotten, as Campbell enters the Big 12 Tournament riding a mind-boggling 33-game hitting streak. No, that isn't a typo. A hit in 33 straight games.

He capped off his season doing what he does best, serving as the catalyst in Texas' offense en route to an easy sweep of the West Virginia Mountaineers. His showing against the Mountaineers earned him Big 12 Player of the Week, the first time receiving the award in his career.

Campbell slashed a staggering .538/.571/1.308 in the three-game sweep, with five extra base hits - a triple and a pair each of doubles and home runs. He drove in four runs and scored six himself while flashing elite defense in right field.

A strong series at the plate helped the Longhorns claim a share of the Big 12 title, and sends them into the Big 12 tournament with plenty of momentum as they look to earn a regional host bid.
