Longhorns Ride Johnson's Complete Game to 4-1 Win Over Miami: Live Game Log
The Texas Longhorns (39-20) are back in action on Saturday evening as they face off against the Miami Hurricanes (41-19) in the winner's bracket of the Coral Gables Regional.
What's on the line in this one? Well, while a loss would not send the Longhorns back to Austin just yet, it would make their road back to Omaha that much harder. Should they lose, they would face off against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns once again on Sunday afternoon in an elimination game.
A win, though, sends the Longhorns to the Coral Gables Regional championship on Sunday afternoon - where they would need to just win one more game to win the regional and advance to the super regionals once again.
That won't come easy though as they face off against the No. 1 seed Hurricanes, a team that is fresh off a 9-1 rout of the Maine Black Bears in their first game of the regional.
Stay tuned as we provide live updates as the Longhorns take on the Hurricanes from Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.
Live updates will be available after first pitch.
