Final ESPN Mel Kiper Jr. Mock Sends Texas RB Bijan Robinson to Eagles

In his final mock draft, expert analyst Mel Kiper Jr. sends Texas Longhorns Bijan Robinson to the Philadelphia Eagles
In this story:

It is officially NFL Draft Day, and with that, the final mock drafts are being released by experts across the country.

Among those predictions, is that of arguably the media's foremost expert on all things NFL Draft - ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr.

And on Thursday morning, Kiper Jr. released his final mock, sending Texas Longhorns star Bijan Robinson to the Philadelphia Eagles. Which, if that indeed comes to pass, could instantly cement the Eagles as the favorites to come out of the NFC for the Super Bowl.

Said Kiper:

The Eagles might prefer to trade back, but why not take an elite runner/receiver who could help them win now? It might go against the organization's philosophy to take a running back this high, but the fit is logical, whether it's at No. 10 or a few spots later. If it's not Robinson, I thought about tackle/guard Peter Skoronski (Northwestern).

Robinson is an elite talent, and to many considered the best running back prospect since Saquon Barkley. The Doak Walker winner rushed for 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground, good for sixth and tied-fifth in the country respectively.

The Eagles averaged 147.6 yards per game on the ground this season and could be in need of a running back.

Miles Sanders is set to hit free agency, and drafting Robinson could be cheaper than bringing him back or signing a replacement via free agency.

No, Robinson might not be the Eagles' No. 10 pick. But after a stellar combine performance, his chances of going earlier in the first round have only increased.

However, if he does make his way to Philadelphia, it could be a dangerous scenario for the rest of the NFL>
