Texas football: Watch: Highlights of new four-star UT receiver commit
The Texas Longhorns will head into a big football weekend with some momentum after flipping four-star wide receiver Troy Omeire from Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-4, 217-pound receiver is cut in the mold of current UT players like Collin Johnson and Brennan Eagles and his skill set should be plug and play in Tim Beck and Tom Herman's offense.
Omeire had offers from LSU, Alabama Texas A&M among many others. He is the No. 22 receiver in the 2019 class, No. 31 prospect in the state of Texas and the No. 88 recruit in the country according to 247 Sports.
He is the second receiver in the 2020 class along with Temple's Quentin Johnston. The UT class of 2020 currently ranks No. 6 in the nation according to 247 Sports with 20 commitments in the books.
Omeire is a solid addition to the Texas class, but don't just take our word for it. Watch his junior highlight video below.
