Texas Longhorns Remain Idle In Latest AP Top 25 Rankings

With a 50-point win to close out the regular season, Texas is one win away from winning the Big 12 title for the first time since 2009.

Texas might have picked up a 57-7 win over Texas Tech in the regular season finale, but it wasn't enough to jump in the polls.

The Longhorns remained at No. 7 in the AP Poll heading into conference championship weekend. Washington, Florida State and Oregon all moved up one spot, while Ohio State dropped to No. 6.

Alabama, which defeated Auburn on a 4th-and-31 touchdown pass to Isaiah Bond with less than a minute remaining, stayed put at No. 8. Louisville, which lost 38-31 to in-state rival Kentucky, moved out of the top 10.
