Former Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson might have some extra juice in the tank after watching his old teammates come up with a huge win over Alabama on Saturday.

Robinson is making his NFL regular-season debut for the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, and is already showing why he was the No. 8 overall pick in April's draft.

The Falcons got off to a slow start in the first quarter, but Robinson quickly flipped the script on the first play of the second quarter. After taking a short pass from quarterback Desmond Ridder, Robinson juked a defender out of his shoes while causing two more would-be tacklers to collide into each other before scampering in for an 11-yard touchdown to give Atlanta a 7-0 lead.

It doesn't get more impressive than this for a rookie's first-career touchdown.

"I think everybody wants to highlight Bijan's talent - he's an incredibly talented player, but I think you've got to see him as a person," Falcons defensive tackle and former Longhorn Ta'Quon Graham said.

Named the nation's top running back as the 2022 Doak Walker winner last season, Robinson led the nation with 1,894 total scrimmages yards (1,580 rushing, 314 receiving) and was second in total touchdowns (20).

Add that to the fact that he led the Big 12 in carries (258), rushing yards (1,580) and rushing touchdowns (18) during the regular season and you've got a running back that lives up to that first-round billing.

The Falcons and Robinson will look to keep momentum going and win their Week 1 matchup.
