WATCH: Longhorns Ex Cameron Dicker Goes Wild on Jumbotron at NHL Game
Former Texas Longhorns kicker Cameron Dicker made a name for himself on the Forty Acres and rose to local fame with his signature "Dicker the Kicker" nickname.
He's since risen to the national spotlight with the Los Angeles Chargers, finishing this season with career-best numbers during his second year in L.A.
But with the Chargers finishing the season 5-12 and falling short of the playoffs, he's got some time on his hands early in the offseason.
On Sunday, Dicker went viral on social media after the Anaheim Ducks posted a video of him chugging a beer shirtless during their game against the New York Rangers at Honda Center.
Dicker was officially announced on the jumbotron as the Chargers' kicker, and he made sure to give fans a show while hyping up the crowd as well. Unfortunately Dicker's enthusiasm didn't help, as the Ducks blew a 2-0 lead and gave up four goals in the third period in what turned into a 5-2 loss.
Take a look:
This season with the Chargers, Dicker played in all 17 games and went 31 of 33 on field goals, with his only two misses coming from 50+ yards. He also made all 35 of his extra point attempts, something that's become rarer these days.
