WATCH: Longhorns' Steve Sarkisian Narrates SEC Hype Video - 'Rent Free!'

Texas Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian had some powerful quotes in a SEC hype video released by the team on Tuesday.

AUSTIN -- Steve Sarkisian is making Texas Longhorns fans across the country want to punch a hole through their wall for all the right reasons after narrating an exciting SEC hype video that the team released on social media Tuesday.

Sarkisian delivered some powerful quotes about Texas' culture and even gave a brief jab to the Longhorns' rival before the video concluded with an SEC logo shining over DKR.

"Texas lives deep in the hearts of anyone who's ever worn the burnt orange and white," Sarkisian says in the video. "It lives in the souls of Longhorn nation everywhere and definitely rent free in the heads of our opponents."

" ... Because when you're a Longhorn, no matter where you are or how far you go, Texas always lives here."

In additional news, Texas announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the university is "ringing in the SEC with a Texas sized party" at an SEC Celebration event on June 30, 2024 and that admission will be free. More details will be revealed at a later date.

Texas Athletic Director Chris Del Conte said during the annual Athletics Town Hall on Tuesday and reemphasized that "Texas Lives Here."

"For us to go to the Southeastern Conference, I can't tell you how excited I am," CDC said. "We're going to stay where our feet our, and our feet are in the Big 12 until July 1. But we know the anticipation of going into the Southeastern Conference is coming. And we wanted to let everyone know Texas Lives Here."

The Longhorns will kickoff at the Orange-White Spring Game on Saturday, April 20 in anticipation for the season opener against Colorado State in Austin on Saturday, Aug. 31.
