Texas QBs Quinn Ewers, Arch Manning Serving As Counselors At Manning Passing Academy
Archie Manning, Cooper Manning, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning make up one of the best football families in the sport's history.
Now, the third generation in the family's quarterbacking lineage, Arch Manning, will be one of the counselors, along with fellow Texas Longhorns teammate Quinn Ewers, at the Manning Passing Academy June 22-25 at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. The two Longhorns gunslingers are among the 45 college quarterbacks who will help assist the rising 8th-12th grade hopeful signal-callers.
Texas and LSU are the only two programs to have multiple quarterbacks serving as counselors.
Ewers completed 172-of-296 passes for 2,177 yards with 15 touchdowns to six interceptions in 10 games last season.
Arch Manning comes in as the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2023, throwing for 8,539 yards and racking up 115 touchdowns to just 15 interceptions. He added 748 yards and 19 scores on the ground.
Other notable quarterbacks that are serving as counselors are former Longhorns and current Purdue signal caller Hudson Card, Penn State's Drew Allar, LSU's Jayden Daniels and Garrett Nussmeier, Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart, UNC's Drake Maye, Tennessee's Joe Milton, Coastal Carolina's Grayson McCall, Washington's Michael Penix Jr., UCF's John Rhys Plumlee, Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, Florida State's Jordan Travis, Miami's Tyler Van Dyke and UTSA's Frank Harris Jr. among others.
