Four-Star 2025 EDGE Kamauryn Morgan Visiting Texas This Weekend
The Texas Longhorns still have a lot of work to do in the 2024 recruiting cycle, as they currently hold three commitments, but they have already begun working towards building their 2025 class.
Four-star edge rusher Kamauryn Morgan announced he will be taking a visit to Austin this weekend. The Red Oak, TX. native currently holds 17 Football Bowl Subdivision offers with seven coming from Lone Star state rivals Baylor, Houston, Southern Methodist, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and UTSA.

This weekend's Longhorns visit will mark the second trip he has taken after taking an unofficial visit to College Station where he unofficially visited Texas A&M Jan. 21.
A breakout sophomore season in 2022, in which he racked up 24 tackles, eight for loss, five sacks, seven quarterback hurries, and knocking down two passes, led to a serious uptick in the number of offers, gathering more than 80 percent of his offers since the new year.
His father, Ronnie Morgan, played college basketball for both the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Texas A&M Commerce Lions, and those skills on the court were passed down a generation.
Kamauryn Morgan plays power forward for the Red Oak High School boy's basketball team, using his 6-5, 230-pound frame down in the post.
